This will be the second edition of the coursebook, featuring all current updates.

Learning Outcomes

Comprehensive Knowledge

You will master nutrient composition of foods and understand the physiological requirements across all life stages and age groups (including infants, children, pregnant and nursing mothers, and the elderly), applying this knowledge to develop personalised nutrition recommendations.

Dietary Planning

You will learn to create balanced and rational nutrition plans considering client’s health status, age, medical guidance and nutrient deficiencies

Technical Expertise

You will master food preparation techniques that preserve essential nutrients and learn to communicate these effectively to clients. You will also study food quality control and safety systems in production.

Consultation Skills

You will develop advanced consultation and communication skills, enabling you to effectively share nutrition knowledge and support clients in achieving their goals.

Technical Proficiency

You will gain competence in using modern tools and software for dietary monitoring and modification. You will be equipped to develop recommendations in food, nutrition and public health.

You will develop the ability to debunk myths and effectively evaluate various information sources, including the interpretation of scientific research and academic papers.

Professional Qualification

Upon successful completion of all assessments and defence of the final thesis, graduates receive a state-recognised professional retraining qualification in both Russian and English.

The qualification confers the right to practice as a “Nutrition Practitioner: Specialist in Nutrition, Dietary Safety and Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases in Population Health”

Admission Process

Preparation

  • Our qualification requires prior higher education or professional qualification – please prepare your credentials

Application and Assessment

  • The admission process includes submitting a detailed application form (with copies of previous qualifications) and entrance assessments – testing your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, biology and logic, plus a personal statement.

Application Outcome

  • Successful candidates receive a programme offer and payment link with flexible payment options. Based on your application, you may also be eligible for a study grant covering 10% to 50% of the programme fees.

Fee Payment

  • You can choose between full payment (most cost-effective option) or installment plans.

Enrolment Agreement

  • You provide necessary personal information (passport, SNILS [Russian social security number]) for the agreement, and we exchange signed hard copies of documentation.

Programme Commencement

  • Upon payment, you gain immediate access to the “Pre-study Module” (* optional – for those seeking additional preparation before the main programme)
  • Academic year begins 7 September 2024.
